The Academy of Fine Arts of Cuneo (ABA CN) is proud to announce its contribution to the new National Valued Doctoral Program in Learning Sciences and Digitai Technologies. This innovative program is designed to explore the interactions between technologies, social contexts and materials in learning processes. Doctoral students will examine the pedagogical and neuroscientific foundations of learning, major educational theories, and digital design, with the goal of developing new technologies and innovative instructional methods. Special attention will be paid to the training of people with disabilities and special educational needs, as well as educational and rehabilitative strategies for fragile social groups.

ABA CN was selected for two research projects in the area of New Literacies and Digital Citizenship, developed by the Department of New Technologies of Art. These projects earned inclusion in the Doctoral Program with National Validity led by the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (UNIMORE) and involving 24 university institutions. In particular, the projects stood out for their approach. innovative approach that integrates aesthetic and narrative aspects in shared design with scientific and technological disciplines. Both projects will have an international dimension, involving the territory for both practical developments and dissemination.

The doctoral projects that will be based at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cuneo are:

  • Multimedia Ways for Inclusion and the Integrated Cognitive Approach, which examines artistic language and multimedia technologies as fundamental tools for the learning of disadvantaged individuals.
  • Pathways of Transmedial Storytelling of Artistic and Cultural Content for Education and Dissemination, which focuses on art as an inclusive and unifying concept, using innovative communication languages and dynamics.
